The City of Pigeon Forge Is receiving Bids on Parkway traffic Signals Replacements for the Public Works department. The City Reserves the Right To reject Any or All Bids or to Accept the Bid Most Favorable To the City. This project consists of traffic signal upgrades at the existing signalized intersections of Parkway (SR 73) at Dollywood Lane, Veterans Boulevard at Dollywood Lane, Veterans Boulevard at Teaster Lane, and Veterans Boulevard at McCarter Hollow Road in Pigeon Forge. The scope of work generally includes removal of existing facilities including poles, span wire, signal heads, cabinets and cable; and installation of new mast arm poles, cabinets, controllers, detection, signal heads, conduit, wiring, and incidentals to provide fully functional upgraded traffic signals. Some existing traffic signal facilities will be relocated to new poles and pedestals and rewired to the new cabinets. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.
