Site work and paving for a road / highway in Newport, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of chip sealing of various county roads associated with the 2024-2 Community Crossings Matching Grant program and award. Questions for the Engineer should be directed to Hick Fierce The Contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest responsive, responsible bid and the criteria defined in the Bid Form and Instructions to Bidders. The County desires to promptly award this contract at the February 11th, 2025 Commissioners Meeting to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in order to have an executed agreement on or before February 25th, 2025. Vermillion County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality Bidding Documents, or finds a discrepancy or omission therein, may submit to the Engineer, Clark Dietz, Inc, 120 W. Spring Street, Suite 400, New Albany, IN 47150, EMAIL: nick.pierce@clarkdietz.com, a written request for an interpretation or correction using the form found in Section 00105 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. No verbal questions or comments will be taken or addressed. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
