Question Deadline 04/29/2025 The project consists of chip sealing of various county roads associated with the 2025-1 Community Crossings Matching Grant program and award. SCOPE OF WORK A. Contractor shall maintain and protect vehicular and pedestrian traffic and the Work while the Contract is in force in accordance with the provisions of this Section. B. The governing factor in the execution and staging of work for this project is to provide the public with the safest possible travel conditions along the roadway through the construction zone. The Contractor shall develop a traffic control plan that meets the latest MUTCD and INDOT standards to safely control traffic flow in the construction zone. The Contractor shall arrange their operations to keep the closing of any lane of the roadway to a minimum. C. Contractor shall coordinate work under this Contract with authorities having jurisdiction, including acquiring all required permits and approvals. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any pedestrian or traffic control permits from governmental authorities having jurisdiction. Measures required by such agencies for permits shall be considered incidental to the contract.
