Site work and new construction of a residential development in Pblo of Acoma, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Pueblo of Acoma Housing Authority (PAHA) is soliciting sealed proposals for designbuild services utilizing IHBG (Indian Housing Block Grant) funds. Scope of Work Proposal Packets The Pueblo of Acoma Housing Authority (PAHA) is seeking qualified, responsive and responsible Design-Build Contractors who are licensed to conduct business in the State of New Mexico for construction of infrastructure, design and build of new singledwelling three-, four- and fivebedroom family homes, All interested Design-Build Contractors are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with instructions and specifications within the proposal packet for the construction of infrastructure, design and build of the singledwelling family homes. Scope of Work, Instruction to Bidders, Contract Documents, Specifications, and Locations are in the Proposal Packet. Sealed Proposal Response Time Proposals will be received from a single Design-Build Contractor. Proposals shall be on a lump sum basis to include all design requirements and document submittal requirements. Proposals shall be in a sealed envelope addressed to the PAHA Development Office and will be clearly marked "PAHA-RFP IHBG NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION PROJECT". No late submittals will be accepted. Proposal Guaranty A proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to the Pueblo of Acoma Housing Authority, an irrevocable letter of credit, U.S. Government bond, or a satisfactory bid bond secured by acceptable sureties, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal amount shall be submitted with each proposal. Assurance of Completion The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment security in accordance with Section 9 of the Construction Services Agreement (100% Performance and Payment Bond or other alternatives). Wage Rates Davis Bacon wage rates will apply in accordance with General Conditions (page 15 of 19 on form HUD5370). License Insurance Design-Build Contractor will be required to have a valid license in the state of New Mexico and cany General Commercial Liability in the amount of $1 Million, as specified in General Conditions, Worker's Compensation, and Auto Liability Insurance. The Pueblo of Acoma Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in proposals wherever it is in the best interest of the PAHA.
