The project generally consists of the construction of the Transportation Office which includes: demo of flooring, installation of new flooring, retrofit LED lighting, paint walks and ceiling, paint all doors, patch as necessary, build enclosure of water heater, clean and paint cabinets, install new toilets in restrooms, install window shades and retrofit window glazing. Asbestos and Lead survey report and asbestos abatement specification is included Value of contract is estimated at $275,800 - $322,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents and accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, or certified check, or cashier's check in favor of the Santa Monica - Malibu Unified School District, or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
