Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bellevue, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a 1,940-square-foot water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Work includes the construction of a new 3-million-gallon-per-day Water Booster Station (WBS), including a 1,940-square-foot brick and block building, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, two booster pumps, interior piping and valves, electrical and controls at the WBS and pressure sustaining valve at Avenue B, backup generator, buried piping connections, on-site topsoil respreading, paving, fencing, and seeding. Doc note - The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Strand Associates, Inc.(R), 414 South 17th Street, Suite 107, Ames, IA 50010, John Gade, P.E., john.gade@strand.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 A.M. to noon and 1 P.M. to 5 P.M., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $250 per set, payable to "Strand Associates, Inc.," plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. The Work will be substantially complete on or before July 1, 2026, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before October 1, 2026. Work under the proposed Project Contract shall be commenced within 15 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The "Notice to Proceed" is anticipated to be issued within 10 days of the Effective Date of the Agreement. The Contractor's bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check shall be in an amount of 5% of the Contractor's bid amount made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. The certified or cashier's check may be cashed by the Owner, or the bid bond forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract and file an acceptable bond satisfactory to the Owner assuring the faithful fulfillment of the Contract and maintenance of said improvements, asrequired by law, within ten days after the acceptance of the Contractor's bid. No Bidder shall withdraw his Bid for at least 30 days after the actual date of the receipt of bids. Each bidder must fully comply with the requirements, terms and conditions of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, including the fair share objectives for disadvantaged business participation during the performance of this contract. The bidder commits itself to the fair share objective for disadvantaged business participation contained herein and all other requirements, terms and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly signed bid. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner.
