PASSED JUNE 6, 2022. 1. This Section is applicable to all branches of Work 2. Project will be constructed under a single, General Construction contract on a gross price (Stipulated Sum) basis. 3. All Construction Documents shall be reviewed by all trades and subcontractors since it is the purpose to cover, in a general way, the items involved in the construction work. The enumeration of specified items shall not be construed as a complete list of all the Work to be performed. The Contractor shall coordinate all trades and subcontractors. 4. All materials removed in the course of demolition shall become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the site and properly disposed of at his sole expense, except as specified to be relocated and/or salvaged by the City. 5. Attendance of the Pre-Bid Conference may be mandatory. See Specification for further direction. If attendance is not mandatory, attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is highly recommended in order to observe the scope of work and existing field conditions. Some of the work is categorized as Unit Price-based activities. The various Unit Price items are identified on the Drawings and/or within the Specifications. See Drawings and Technical Specifications for additional information. B. WORK COVERED BY THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS 1. Work shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, superintendence, equipment, tools, services for and incidental to the improvements proposed as are shown on the drawings and/or as specified by these specifications for the (2024 MARKET SQUARE PARK LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS). The project consists of coordination and installation of lighting and electrical site improvements as indicated on the drawings, details and specifications. 2. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, replacement of four (4) existing light poles with new light poles that are to be mounted on the existing concrete pole bases. Strings of catenary lighting are to be hung from the new poles over Market Square Park. New light fixtures are to be connected to the existing meter panel on the north side of the site.
