Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hartford City, Indiana. Working plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium; and educational facility.
The project includes a proposed new addition to the existing Blackford Junior-Senior High School building (2392 North State Road 3, Hartford City, IN 47348) to house a new auditorium (house and stage), lobby, restroom, dressing rooms, set construction, mechanical, circulation, and other support spaces. The total building addition is anticipated to be approximately 28,000 square feet, and the auditorium is anticipated to hold 650-700 audience members. The project is also anticipated to include minor renovations of existing adjacent and/or related building areas. Other associated improvements contained as part of the Project may include modifications to existing parking areas, walks, and drives; additional site lighting; and other site development such as earthwork, pavements, and utilities to support the additions, renovations, and other improvements.
