Site work and renovation of a civil project in Hartford City, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: This project includes demolition and removal of the District's existing Septic Tank Effluent Pump (STEP)sewer collection system with a traditional gravity sewer system. The new gravity system will consist of approximately 5,100 LF of new 8" gravity sewer along with reconnections of the existing STEP system customers to the new gravity system. The new gravity system also includes approximately 19 new precast manholes, a new main duplex lift station (70 gpm @ 107' TDH), 140 LF railroad crossing, and a new grinder pump station to a customer who is unable to connect to the new gravity system. This project also includes miscellaneous WWTP upgrades including two (2) new septic tanks, replacement of existing effluent flow meter, replacement of existing blowers (mandatory alternate), nuisance plant removal within existing constructed wetlands, and replacement of existing UV disinfection equipment. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalitiesin bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. NO bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days.
