The Project includes the following Work: Water meters and MIU modules will be supplied by the Owner. Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to remove existing cold-water meters and registers and install approximately 2,600 new cold-water meters, meter interface units (MIU) and integration with the AMI system. The Owner has prequalified Badger water meter equipment to be installed for this project. Only the prequalified equipment will be permitted to be installed. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of thirty (30) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. This advertisement does not obligate the Owner for any costs associated with preparing or submitting bids. The successful General Bidder must furnish a 50 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
