Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and bridge / tunnel.
Plans call for a interconnected 14-mile loop which will consist of a paved share-use path and other associated pedestrian facilities throughout the city. The project will also install five rectangular rapid flashing beacons, two high intensity activated crosswalks and seven modified traffic signals. The project will also include 3,300 feet of segmental block regaining walls, 17 railroad track crossings, a bridge underpass, a tunnel underpass and three active transportation bridges. As of February 4, 2025, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
