Question Deadline 02/04/2025 at 1:00 PM CT Question Cuttoff Date & Time It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Contract period: March 1, 2025-February 28, 2026 The successful Bidder will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Quantities stated are the minimum quantities that will be purchased throughout the contract period. Purchase orders will be issued for items as needed throughout the contract period. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Delivery Requirements The height of merchandise plus pallet is not to exceed 60 inch height. Materials shipped in full pallet quantities shall be stacked and securely banded and/or shrink wrapped on four-way entry pallets measuring 40" x 48". Pallets should be made of durable material strong enough to hold weight of product. Delivery Location Material shall be delivered to 931 S. 4th St., Ames, IA 50010. Calcium Chloride shall be delivered on flat bed trailers and shall be covered with tarpaulins or other cover to keep material dry in inclement weather. Note: Shipments using excessive adhesives between bags will be rejected.
