Renovation of a water / sewer project in Salem, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; bypass pumping; replacement of the pumps, pipes and valves; dry pit and ancillary equipment; replacement of the pump system control instruments; dry pit enclosure improvements; miscellaneous site improvements; new odor control system; new standby generator; and electrical modifications including all new equipment at grade. Liquidation damages will be in the amount of $1,000 for each calendar day from the date established for substantial completion, and $500 for each calendar day from the date established for final completion. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Total amount of the Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bonds and 10% Warranty Bond and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his Bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids received, and to omit any item or items it may deem to be in the best interest of the Owner. Technical questions regarding the plans and specifications can be directed to the Purchasing Agent by email, gfaccadio@salemnh.gov. Questions must be received by end of day on February 21 st, 2025 to be addressed by addendum.
