The Ministry anticipates that it will require the provision of technical services in the following geographic area: various locations in West Region. Assignments under this retainer will primarily involve Cultural Heritage Evaluation Reports (CHER), Cultural Heritage Assessment Reports (CHAR), Strategic Conservation Plans, and Documentation Reports for MTO owned property, bridges, structures and other heritage resources. These are small, individual assignments. Occasionally, MTO will require immediate evaluation of an identified property in cases where demolition or replacement is recommended. For each assignment, the Service Provider shall provide a detailed proposal with a work-plan and implementation schedule. The Service Provider shall describe in detail the objectives of the assignment, the services, tasks and deliverables to be provided, the staff assigned to those services and tasks and associated costs. The scope of work will include the performance of all work necessary or appropriate to deliver the individual Work Items requested by the Ministry throughout the term of the Retainer Assignment in conformance with the standards, criteria and requirements of the Technical Standards and Specifications. As well, when providing services under this Agreement, the Service Provider shall comply with all applicable legislation, regulatory standards, industry best management practices, and other guidelines and procedures relevant to conduct the work. The Service Provider shall also consult any existing applicable MTO guidance documents as appropriate.
