The scope of work is the complete abatement and disposal as asbestos-containing material (ACM) as noted in the itemized list in the October 29, 2024 REPORT OF PRE-RENOVATION ASBSETOS INSPECTION for the Pulaski Pool House at 162 Washington Street. The ACM materials include asbestos window caulking, mudded thermal insulation and associated debris. This Section specifiesthe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials(ACM), and asbestoscontaminated materials to accommodate the demolition and renovation project at the Spratt Park Pool Facility, located at 121 Wilbur Boulevard, Poughkeepsie, New York. Removals include, but are not limited to, asbestos window caulking, mudded thermal insulation and associated debris. B. No services are provided by the owner. All power, lighting, water, sanitary facilities, decontamination facilities and staging areas are to be provided by the contractor, external to the facilities. The contractor must also provide adequate facilities and electric for the air-sampling technician as well. C. Pre-Demolition Report and NYSDOL Approved variance in appendices delineatesthe extent of each work area. F. Abatement of ACM shall be conducted in accordance with the NYSDOL approved local project specific variance (File No. SH-64JTR in appendix B) and all federal, state and local laws. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide 10 calendar day notification to NYSDOL.
