The Rural Municipality of Coalfields No. 4, is accepting tenders to spread approximately 26,000 cubic yards of gravel for the 2025 municipal road maintenance program. The gravel will be stockpiled at two locations within the RM of Coalfields The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest or any tender may not necessarily be awarded. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality. The work shall be fully completed by June 30th, weather permitting and barring any unexpected or extenuating circumstances, unless the completion date is altered by mutual agreement of the parties under any terms of this Contract. If by June 30th all or a portion of the work is incomplete, the RM of Coalfields reserves the right to take over the remaining work and complete it by any means deemed necessary by the RM Council. The RM would pay the Contractor for the work completed up to that time. If the Contractor is unable to complete the work by the completion date specified, the RM may take that into consideration when reviewing future tender submissions.
