Drainage Improvement Project Work Shall Consist Essentially of the Grading Drainage Ditches, Riprap Installation, Other Associated Drainage Improvements, and Minor Sewer Repairs in Adjacent Areas. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises Are Solicited to Bid on This Contract as Prime Contractors and Are Encouraged to Make Inquiries Regarding Potential Sub-contracting Opportunities, Equipment, Material and/or Supply Needs. The City of Wiggins is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City of Wiggins Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Insure That a Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement Will Be Afforded the Full Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, National Origin, Age, Disability, Sexual Preference, Marital or Veteran Status, or Any Legally Protected Status in Consideration for an Award. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Each in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. The Proposal and Contract Documents in Its Entirety Shall Be Submitted in a Sealed Envelope and Deposited With the City Clerk, 117 First Street, Wiggins, Mississippi 39577, Prior to the Hour and Date Above Designated. The City of Wiggins Has the Right to Reject Any and All Bids Received.
