Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work of this contract consists of the construction of a masonry restroom building with an attached covered shelter area including associated site pavement, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Each bid shall be accompanied by the Bidders Bond or Certified Check in the amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount of the total bid, which shall be forfeited to the City of Ladysmith in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract. The City of Ladysmith reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Bidders may be requested to submit Contractors Qualification Statement. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. The City of Ladysmith reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
