Question Deadline 02/03/2025 at 4:00 PM CT Runway 13C-31C & Associated Taxiways Rehab - Midway Int'l Airport General Description of the Work: The Project consists of furnishing all means, methods, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and services for performing all work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Technical Specifications for the runway, taxiways, service roads, infields, electrical vault, and other areas within the project limits, including all incidentals, appurtenant work and accessories, to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City. The scope of work associated with the construction of the Runway 13C-31C & Associated Taxiways Rehabilitation Project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: o Installation of Erosion Control Devices and Security Measures o Demolition of Pavements, Utilities and Miscellaneous Items o Earthwork and Grading o Installation of Underdrains, Storm Sewers and Drainage Structures o Paving and Resurfacing of Runways, Taxiways, Shoulders o Conversion of Emergency Access Roadway o Installation of Airfield Lighting, Signage Bases and Fixtures, Signing, and Electrical Systems o Pavement Marking o Modifications to Equipment and Circuits in the Airfield Electrical Vault o Topsoiling, Seeding, Sodding, Mulching, and Erosion Control This General Description of the Work is intended to be general in nature and is neither a complete description nor a limitation on the Work to be performed.
