Contractors shall meet all LDCHA insurance requirements. Contracts are subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and Chapter X of the Code of the City of Lawrence. All work relating to the Contract Documents requires the payment of HUD-determined wage rates. The Contractor must have an affirmative action program to ensure that applicants and employees are treated equally without regard to their race, sex, religion, color, national origin, age, ancestry, familial status, sexual orientation or disability. The proposal will be for the mow calendar year of 2025 (Approximately March - December) with an option for (2) one-year extensions for 2026 and 2027. The Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities or informalities therein.
