Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Notre-Dame-du-Portage, Quebec. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work covered by this contract involves the demolition and decontamination of only part of the MCTS building at Notre-Dame-du-Portage. Only elements contaminated with lead and asbestos will be demolished and removed from the site by the Contractor. The work includes the asbestos-contaminated roof membrane, the interior ceiling contaminated with lead paint, the concrete floor and walls inside the building, and certain red-painted elements contaminated with lead. The Contractor must provide all materials, equipment, labor, lodging, transportation and any other items required to complete the mandate. This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded.
