Remodeling of a playground / park / athletic field in Vancouver, Washington. Working plans call for the remodel of a 2,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
**As of March 21, 2025 all bids were rejected. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid.** Invitation to Bid Award February 18, 2025 Clark County shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or items bid. In accordance with Washington State Code, all public work submittal to the County by interested bidders shall be accompanied by a 5% BID BOND, in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposed. Public work is defined as "all work, construction, alteration, repair, or improvement other than ordinary maintenance. A 100% PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND shall be additionally required of a successful bidder of any public work. Should a successful bidder fail to furnish this bond within ten (10) days after notice of bid award, exclusive of the date of notice, his five percent (5%) bid bond shall be forfeited to the County, and the contract shall be awarded to the next lowest and best bidder. Within ten (10) days after the notice of bid award, the successful bidder and the County shall fully execute all necessary contractual documents. The project consists of the interior remodel of the existing caretaker house into office space for the Clark County Public Works Parks Department. This will consist of a conversion of approximately +/-2500 sf residence into a Parks administration office. The work will include demolition of interior walls and exterior doorways, construction of concrete ADA ramp and exterior walls with brick and siding facade, installation of windows, interior walls, doors, electrical and mechanical improvements. Work will also include coverings, cabinetry, paint and miscellaneous other project elements to complete the work outlined in the drawings and specifications. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and any other items necessary to complete the project. The County reserves the right to adjust the scope of this work to match available funds.
