Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waupun, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following approximate quantities: 1,800 LF of sanitary sewer (8" PVC) along with associated sanitary lateral replacement; 1,900 L.F. of water main (8" PVC) with associated water service replacement; 1,200 LF of storm sewer (12" thru 18" RCP) along with associated storm lateral installation work; 8,200 S.Y. aggregate base installation; 2,500 S.Y. topsoil and seeding; 6,800 S.Y. of asphalt pavement; 11,400 S.F. of concrete sidewalk; 3,600 L.F. concrete curb and gutter; 10,200 S.F. concrete driveway approach; as well as all related work including unclassified excavation, erosion control, and traffic control. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Federal wage rates can be found online. Be aware that project Administrators, Bidders, and Contractors are required to use the latest federal wage rate available at the time of bid opening. This project anticipates the use of partial funding from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
