Renovation of an educational facility in Machesney Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids are invited from Qualified Mechanical Contractors acting as Prime Contractors or General Contractors. The work includes but is not limited to the removal ofthe existing chiller and the installation of a new chiller and related piping, controls and electrical connections at Ralston Elementary School. The Work also includes structural reinforcement ofthe roofto support the new chiller, as well as cutting, patching, and restoration of existing conditions to like new condition so as to not void the existing roof warranties. The Work is to be awarded as a single contract and will include all work shown. See the drawings and specifications for additional information. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates ofwages to all laborers and workmen performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements ofthe Illinois Wages ofEmployees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
