Reference Number 0000373352 Jefferson County is soliciting proposals for planning services necessary to complete and submit the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan update. An update to the Plan is required for the County to continue to be eligible for Hazard Mitigation Grants under Section 404 of the Federal Stafford Act. The original Jefferson County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan was adopted in November 2016. Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management is ultimately responsible for the final planning product but will utilize a qualified consultant to prepare the updated plan. Jefferson County (the "County") includes Arvada, Edgewater, Golden, Lakewood, Morrison, and Wheat Ridge, multiple fire protection districts, and additional special districts.
