Reference Number 0000378176 Job Location: Golden, Colorado Bid Intent Not Available Colorado School of Mines is seeking to prequalify contractors for various trades needed on construction projects under $500,000 for the Office of Design & Construction. As construction projects, repairs and other general servicing tasks are needed on campus, bids solicited from prequalified vendors shall fall into six types of scopes of work: (1) existing space with adjacent occupancy, (2) existing space, no adjacent occupancy, (3) new construction space with adjacent occupancy, (4) general infrastructure repairs and upgrades, (5) landscape construction and maintenance, and/or (6) maintenance, repairs, and other general servicing tasks. A Mines representative will reach out to prequalified vendors for construction projects, repairs and other general servicing tasks that are under $500,000. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The pre-qualification for use by ODC would be in effect (depending on bonding capacity) for Mines construction projects costing $500,000 or less for an individual project. Individual projects under $50,000 will require a detailed time and materials-not-toexceed written quote from a pre-qualified vendor. Projects between $50,000 and $150,000 will require documented quotes from a minimum of three selected pre-qualified vendors. Projects between $150,000 and $500,000 will require sealed Successful vendors will be on Mines' prequalified Standing Order vendor list for one (1) year under the trades that you prequalify for. Pre-qualification will remain in effect from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
