SUMMARY OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED a. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the Work, including proper permitting, as well as any other requirements as indicated on the drawings and specifications or as needed for the above-described Work. b. Remove and properly dispose of existing boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, buffer tanks and all other items associated with demolition of the existing boiler plant as indicated on the drawings. c. Install new boilers, pumps and associated equipment in the existing locations as shown in the drawings. d. The contractor shall verify electrical requirements and circuit capacity prior to ordering equipment. e. The contractor shall provide electrical power service disconnects and reconnects. All electrical Work provided by the Contractor must be done by a licensed electrician. f. Provide all ductwork and flue modifications as needed. All roof work or roof penetration must be performed by an authorized Firestone contractor. g. Contractor shall perform all necessary Work and obtain all necessary inspections to place equipment in full operational mode including the Colorado State Boiler Inspector. Equipment start-up shall be by the manufacturer's representative. h. Contractor shall proceed with additional work not identified in this Contract only after a fully executed proceed order or change order signed by the County Representative has been received by the Contractor The County of Jefferson, Colorado, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received which are inconsequential or immaterial in nature, and to approve awards in total or in part, whichever, in its judgment best serves the interests of Jefferson County, Colorado. The County reserves the right to base the suitability of the award on factors other than lowest price.
