Renovation of an educational facility in Middlesex, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,814-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC") as of the date and time of the bid opening as: C068 - Roofing - Membrane Modified Bitumen Further, if the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC in the following disciplines, the Bidder shall be required to retain a subcontractor that is DPMC classified in those disciplines that the Bidder is not classified; which subcontractors shall be named in the bid and all required documents for those subcontractors shall be provided within the time required by the bid documents. Bidders must be classified by the NJSDA as either: C068 - Roofing - Modified Bitumen Further, if the Bidder is not classified by the NJSDA in the following disciplines, the Bidder shall be required to retain subcontractors that are NJSDA classified in those disciplines that the Bidder is not classified; which subcontractors shall be named in the bid and all required documents for those subcontractors shall be provided within the time required by the bid documents and/or by law. Bids shall be submitted on the provide proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond draw to the order of the "Middlesex Board of Education" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond for public works projects in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor. Written Inquiries are due on January 29, 2025. The Scope of Work includes the following: 1. Description of Project. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the replacement of Roof E and G. The total sum of the contract drawings and specifications define the project scope of work.
