Reference Number 0000286002 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/02/14 04:00:00 PM CST Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for all that is required for the installation of fibre optic cable systems at various Manitoba Hydro locations. The Work will be on an as and when required basis for a period of three (3) years, subject to earlier termination. 1.1 the Work Includes All That is Required for the Installation of Various Fibre Optic Cable Systems Throughout Manitoba, on 'an as and When Required' Basis. The Work Includes the Following (Non-exhaustive): 1.2 Obtaining All Necessary Permits and Notifications; Providing All Necessary Site Access, Clearing, Installing Cable, Ducts, Conduits, Ground Wire, Backfill, Splice Vaults and Accessories, Marker Tape, and Cable Markers; Clean-up, and All Work Necessary but Not Specifically Mentioned in Request for Proposal 043283. 1.3 the Contractor Will Be Expected to Supply All Approvals and/or Licenses Required Under and Federal or Provincial Legislation or Guidelines, Except When Those Approvals or Licenses Are Supplied by the Purchaser (Refer to Section 5 Permits and Notification and Section 7 Site Locations). 1.4 the Purchaser Will Supply Materials Described in Section 2 Materials to Be Supplied by the Purchaser of the Technical Requirements. 1.5 Work Performed by the Contractor Under the Terms of This Contract Does Not Constitute an Obligation by Manitoba Hydro to Guarantee Any Further Amount of Work, Similar or Not, to the Contractor. Manitoba Hydro Reserves the Right to Tender Any Further Work as It Deems Appropriate. 1.6 Descriptions of Items of the Work Listed Are Provided as a General Overview. A Detailed Scope and Requirements of the Work Are Provided Below and in the Technical Requirements. The Work and Any Item Forming Part of the Work Shall Also, in All Respects, Comply With the Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
