Renovation of a transportation facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Reference Number 0000286427 Questions are submitted online No The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Transit Maintenance and Repair Building Mechanical Upgrade - Centre High Bay. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Old/obsolete HVAC equipment and associated components will be demolished and roof openings patched. (b) New Tempeff dual core heat recovery units (HRU's) pre-purchased from the city under a separate supply and delivery contract will be delivered at site. Contractor will be responsible for offloading the units. (c) HRU Tender is closed and pending award. The current expected delivery date for the HRU's is September 22, 2025. (d) New roof mounted, dual core heat recovery units (HRU's) will be provided for a ventilation rate of 1.5 cfm / sq ft. HRU's will be connected to the natural gas system. (e) HRU supply air will be at the middle of the G Track. (f) HRU exhaust air will be at high level along the north of the G Track; high and low levels along the south of G Track. (g) New CO/NOx sensors will be provided in the G Track and connected to the existing monitoring / logging system. (h) Sprinkler system will be modified to accommodate demolished and new equipment. (i) Digital controls will be provided and tied into the existing JCI Metasys system to City of Winnipeg standards. (j) Electrical provisions will be provided to serve new mechanical loads. (k) Structural upgrades including columns and piles to support HRU. (l) Existing Infrared Heaters will be removed and replaced. (m) Roof hydrants will be provided for maintenance of roof mounted equipment. (n) The contractor shall be responsible to coordinate the rebate applications for Heat Recovery Units and Infrared Heaters to Efficiency Manitoba with the equipment suppliers and credit the rebate back to city as per D23.2.1.
