Renovation of a library in Conrad, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
project bids for the construction of the new HVAC system in the library, as well as repair and tuck pointing of the historic brick work on the exterior of the building. The HVAC and the Tuckpointing will be separate bid forms and will be separate contracts with the contractor and owner. These projects are funded in part by State of Montana SLIPA Grants, and all State of Montana, and local requirements must be met and followed for these projects. This will be a Montana Prevailing wage Building Project. Question Deadline 02/04/2025 Direct questions in writing to Nelson Architects, attention Josh Lamy, at the office of the Architect at 621 2 nd Avenue North, Great Falls, MT 59401 or by email: Josh@NelsonArchitects.com. Submit questions not less than seven days before date set for receipt of Bids. bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid bond payable to Conrad Public Library in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall forfeit to Conrad Public Library their bid security if they fail or refuse to enter into a contract and provide the required performance security within the time specified. Bid security of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned upon acceptance of the successful bid. All bids shall remain effective for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of opening. Conrad Public Library reserves the right to consider or reject any and all bids, and further to waive any defects or irregularities. All bidders must use the bid form supplied with the specifications. A contract will be awarded to the lowest, best value, most responsible bidder, and deemed to be in the best interest of Conrad Public Library. All bidders are expected to be aware of and to abide by all state and federal statutes, rules, and regulations governing the solicitation and acceptance of public contracts, including any such statute, rule or regulation relating to non-discrimination. Conrad Public Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept any bid they deem to be in the best interest of Conrad Public Library. Project was awarded $149,860 for the HVAC, $7,400 for the Downspout. However the tuckpointing was not awarded.
