Renovation of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Phase 3 of the project covers Tower C located on the North-East side of the complex. The tower consists of seven (7) levels of primarily office space plus a mechanical penthouse. This phase is similar to previous phases 1 and 2, involving the removal of interior finishes (except in heritage significant areas), mechanical and electrical services, and exterior enhancements such as precast concrete cladding, curtain wall replacement, terrace roofing, landscaping, lighting, and photovoltaic solar panels. During construction of this project, there will be other ongoing projects. The Work must be coordinated accordingly between these concurrent projects, while maintaining the required separation of time and space so that the responsibilities associated with "Constructor" remain with the Construction Manager. The scope of work includes but is not limited to supply of all material, labour and installation of paint, high performance coatings, wall coverings and flexible wood veneers. Based on the available design information, the preliminary estimated cost for this scope of work is valued CAD$2,500,000 for the Tower C phase.
