Town Council for the Town of Brownsburg, Indiana (the "Owner") will receive sealed bids for a Water Utility Improvements project titled the Town of Brownsburg COUNTY ROAD 700 NORTH WATER MAIN RELOCATION PROJECT as briefl y described below (the "Project"). Question Deadline 02/04/2025 No late bids will be accepted and all bids received after the time will remain sealed and will be returned to sender unopened. The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, water main construction of approximately 550 L.F. of 16" HDPE Water Main to replace and relocate existing water main and reconnect all adjacent water mains and services, installation of valves, hydrants and all appurtenances as necessary for a complete water main project. All service lines along project route shall be replaced from the water main to water meter. All demolition and removal of existing features shall be included in the work. All labor, equipment, testing and materials to perform the work per the plans and specifications shall be included. Any question concerning the proposed Project and/or the Project Manual should be directed to Curry & Associates, Inc., now part of Flies & Vanden Brink. Neither the Town of Brownsburg nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders shall assure that they have obtained complete set of specifications and Contract Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in bids prepared in reliance on incomplete sets of specifications and Contract Documents. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Project site(s) and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid. The bid envelopes must be sealed and have the words "BID -- Town of Brownsburg - County Road 700 North Water Main Relocation Project", on the outside of the envelopes. Bids must be submitted on the forms in the Contract Documents, and must contain the names of every person or company interested therein, and shall be accompanied, by: 1. A bid bond or certifi ed check in an amount not less than fi ve percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each Contract bid. Bid security shall be forfeited if a bid is withdrawn after the time and date set for receiving bids. 2. Upon award of the contracts but prior to the execution of the contracts between the Town and the Contractor, the Contractor shall provide a one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bonds. No bidder may withdraw any bid or proposal within a period of ninety (90) days following the date set for receiving bids or proposals. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to reject bids that do not meet the qualifi cations outlined in this Notice or in the bidding documents and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding process or in any bid. The Town further reserves the right to reject all bids, should the Town determine, in the opinion of the Town Council based on the bids received, that the contemplated cost of construction is not economically feasible. The Town reserves the right to hold any or all bids or proposals for a period of not more than ninety (90) days and said bids or proposal shall remain in full force and effect during said period. The Town reserves the right to reject and/or cancel any and all bids, solicitations and/or offers in whole or in part as specified in the solicitations.
