Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a swimming pool.

Anticipated construction tasks as specified in the contract drawings include, but are not necessarily limited to: o Mobilization, demolition, de-watering as needed, and disposal of all removed materials o Conduct operations in conformance with all NYS OSHA and Confined Space best safety practices o Supply and install any needed pipe, fittings, hardware, etc. o Supply and install new 10" butterfly valve, 10" basket strainer, 2 still tanks, clevis hangers, pipe supports, etc. o Supply and install 1" thick fiberglass gratings, galvanized angle supports, grout as-needed, anchor bolts, etc. Proposals shall be for the Pipe Repairs as per the scope of work described in the plans by Barton & Loguidice dated January 2025. The project shall consist of providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to do the work described in the contract drawings. The contractor shall submit the Proposal page, and a cover letter describing the contractor's availability to do the work, familiarity with similar pipe replacement jobs, tentative schedule, and general approach for this job. The successful proposal shall be decided upon the following criterion: contractor's past job performances with similar pipe work, schedule, and fee and not on cost alone. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the City.
