Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The proposed project is to provide a new additional parking lot and improvements to sidewalk segments, curb ramps, drainage, striping, and signs at the Ithaca Youth Bureau. All construction work is within the City of Ithaca right of way and property. This project is a Unit Price contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of: Five Percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. Bid deposits of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned promptly upon execution of the contract with the successful bidder. Written questions should be addressed to Johnathan Licitra at the City of Ithaca, Questions must be received by 5:00 PMp.m. on March 10, 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements for ensuring that employees, applicants for employment, and contractors are not discriminated against; refer to the Contract Documents for additional information. There is no DBE participation goal required for this contract.
