The Mahoning Valley Sanitary District (MVSD) is requesting statement of qualifications from qualified firms in providing professional Architectural/Engineering services for the Administration and Filter Building Renovations Project. Project Description: The work shall consist of Architect/Engineer (A/E) services, including but not limited to preparation of plans, specifications, bidding and construction documents, cost estimates and construction engineering support to assist MVSD with the renovations of the Administration and Filter Building located at 1181 Ohltown-McDonald Road, Mineral Ridge in Trumbull County, Ohio. The proposed work will involve renovation of First, Second and Third floor of Administration Building and Filter Building including asbestos survey, testing and remediation, demolition, plumbing, electrical, SCADA wiring and mechanical upgrades with relocation of Bacteria and Chemical Laboratories on the Third Floor and creating additional office space on the First, Second and Third Floor Levels following current Ohio Building Code requirements, Americans with disabilities act guidelines and Ohio EPA certification requirements for a drinking water plant laboratory. Statement of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history, education and experience of key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firms experience in the similar type of projects; availability of staff; current references; hourly rates; overhead and profit costs. Description of past projects should include scope of work, project schedule, status of the project, estimated project costs, actual project cost and the costs associated with any and all change orders on the project. Provide a description of your project approach, not to exceed two pages. Confirm that the firm has visited the site and address your firms technical approach, understanding of the project, innovative ideas, project specific plan for ensuring increased quality, reduced project delivery time and reduced project costs.
