Asphalt Overlay and Repair Project located at the Mason Elementary / Intermediate Campus, 6307 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Bids will be received for the General Construction Contract (Single Prime). The probable cost for the total construction contract is $350,000. Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Each proposal shall contain the name of every person interested therein. Each proposal shall meet the regulations of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. A. Each bidder is requested to visit each site and to inform himself of all conditions. Failure to visit the sites will in no way relieve the successful bidder from necessity of furnishing all material and labor necessary to complete work in accordance with plans and specifications. B. All site visits shall be after school hours or on weekends. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such review as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder submitting a bid for the Project.
