Waterside is a subdivision consisting of eighty (80) units with privately owned streets, cul-de-sacs and parking, maintained by the community Homeowners Association. The community is located off Muddy Neck Road near the Town of Ocean View, with access via roadway within shared-use easement. Contract Term: 45 Consecutive Calendar Days Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equivalent to ten (10) percent of the amount of the base bid and any alternates. The bid guarantee may be a certified check or a bid bond secured by a surety authorized to do business in Delaware. The bid guarantee shall be made payable to Sussex County Council. Contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment required to perform repairs and improvements to the street and parking network within the Waterside community, located near Ocean View, DE, in accordance with specifications and details as provided herein, including but not limited to pavement preparation, pavement milling and patching, pavement overlay, utility casting adjustments and repairs, PCC curb and valley gutter repairs and replacements, maintenance of traffic, and restoration as required to complete all specified work. Contractors should visit the site to familiarize themselves with the entirety of proposed work. Federal or State scale wage rates are NOT applicable on this Project. Liquid Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustment and Diesel Fuel Index are NOT applicable to this Project.
