GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK Bids are solicited under a general contract for the following approximate quantities of work: 1. Sweep approximately 38.81 curb miles of Major Streets curb & gut - ter. 2. Sweep approximately 54.51 curb miles of Local Streets curb & gutter. 3. Sweep 580 curb & gutter radius - es of Major and/or Local Streets at various locations. 4. Sweep 8 City parking lots equal - ingapproximately 26,947 square yards. 5. Sweeping Per Hour. 6. Emergency Sweeping Per Hour. The City reserves the right to omit any or all these items from the con - tract or to increase or reduce the miles or square yards swept at the unit prices as bid, with no increase in unit price by the contractor.
