Site work for a civil project in Troy, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Fluvanna Water Tank Recoating and Repairs Project (Project Code 799- 10887-1240,) at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women in Troy, Virginia. The project is generally described as the recoating of the existing 300,000 gallon, 165 foot tall elevated water storage tank and the provision of incidental water piping and valve improvements. A Bid Bond is required. A Standard Performance Bond and Standard Labor and Material Bond is required are required wen the bid amount is greater than $500,000. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements.
