**As of March 19,2025, an award has not been made and bid results have not been made available. ** 2025 Courtyard Pavers Sealed bids, plainly marked, "PROPOSAL FOR 2025 COURTYARD PAVERS" will be received by the Board of Education of the Township of Marlboro in the County of Monmouth, New Jersey at the Board of Education Offices, 1980 Township Drive, Marlboro, New Jersey, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope, bearing the bidder's name and address and delivered to: Mr. Vincent Caravello, School Business Administrator/Board Secretary Marlboro Township Board of Education 1980 Township Drive Marlboro, New Jersey 07746 With the name of the project, "PROPOSAL FOR 2025 COURTYARD PAVERS", plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the undersigned. Such bids may be delivered before the time, or at the time and place as specified above. Bidders may also visit online. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. No bids will be received after the time specified above for opening, nor will any proposal be allowed to be modified or withdrawn after the time set for the opening. Pursuant to P.L. 2004 c.57, all bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include with its bid its own Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act as to the Bidder and all subcontractors. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. A bidder shall be required to deposit with his bid, security in the amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid, but not more than $20,000.00 in the form of certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a surety company bond satisfactory to the Board of Education and equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price as provided by the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27-1 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Stockholder Disclosure) and provide a Non-Collusion Affidavit. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27, all bidders must be classified by the Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction as to the character and amount of public work on which they may submit bids. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-6.3(a)(4), bidders must submit an executed C.271 political contribution disclosure form ten (10) days before entering into the contract (see, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.26. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, all bidders must submit a Consent of Surety provided by a surety company licensed to write business in the State of New Jersey, stating that the surety will provide a performance bond, labor and materials bond and maintenance bond in amounts and at the times specified in the contract documents. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A -1 et seq., pertaining to the "Public School Contracts Law". The Marlboro Township Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Board of Education.
