Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Columbus, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Project involves but is not limited to, removing 750 lineal feet of 48-inch CMP, removal of two concrete end sections, constructing roughly 800 lineal feet of stream channel with a 6-foot-wide bottom, seeding and erosion matting, rock j-hooks, rock clusters, two pedestrian bridges (mandatory alternates). The Project Manager for this Project is Heidi Jeninga, who may be contacted at Ruekert & Mielke, Inc., 4630 S. Biltmore Lane, Madison, WI 53718, (608) 819-2600 regarding the Project. Est. Completion Date: Oct. 15, 2025 All Work is included in a single prime contract. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Columbus reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineer's opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. There will be no pre-Bid conference.
