The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to select the most-qualified Consultant to provide Professional Design Services for the design of the Protective Barriers for Unattended Spaces. The City wishes to obtain these services under a Professional Services Agreement. The consultant shall conduct field reviews and investigations to deliver a design for installation of 8-foot tall wrought iron fencing that will enhance security barriers around City owned flood control channels and pump stations. The city owns approx. 17 bridges that pass over flood control channels and two (2) pump stations. Fourteen bridge crossings and two pump stations are in need of enclosures. FY 2024-25 program will aim to enclose unattended space at two (2) pump stations and at three (3) bridge crossing locations. The consultant shall also provide an estimate, a bid schedule, and product cut-sheets for the recommended bid items that're determined to be necessary.
