Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bureau, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Villages of Bureau Junction and Neponset will each be rehabilitating a minimum of ten (10) homes in each community through a Community Development Block Grant. The scope of work will range from $20,000 - $60,000 per home and we will be doing multiple bid openings between February 2025 and June 2026. General contractors interested in bidding on these projects should contact Connie Buchanan at NCICG (815) 433-5830 or email cbuchanan@ ncicg.org. In order to be considered in the pool of general contractors for this project, we require the following: • Proof of minimum insurance requirements • Certification for Renovation Repair and Painting (RRP) for lead remediation through the USEPA • Cannot be debarred from SAM.gov (System award management) • Registration with the city or village where the work will take place (if applicable) Any general contractors that would like to be included in the opportunity for bidding must provide the above listed information to receive bid documents when the homes are ready for bidding. Homes will be bid out in groups of 3-4 at a time over the next year or so until all homes are completed and the budget has been depleted.
