Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Terre Haute, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Work Order #1- Miscellaneous Repair to Curb, Curb&gutter, Handicap Ramps and other Concrete Flatwork All bids must be submitted on the prescribed State Board of Accounts Bid Form No 96, which includes the completed execution of a non-collusion affidavit. Bid Security: Any person, firm or corporation who submits proposals MUST file with their proposals a Bond or Certified Check in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) made payable to the Board of Public Works and Safety. To ensure faithful completion of the contract entered into with the City of Terre Haute by the successful bidder, said bidder will be required to give a Performance Bond due at the time of the execution of the contract, in the full amount of the contract price with sufficient surety thereon. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and waives technicalities as to procedures and to award a contract on the bid that, in its judgment, is the most advantageous to the City of Terre Haute, Indiana. A unit price contract will be awarded for the construction of the associated work illustrated on Attachment “A”. The attachment outlines the scope of work for the project by address. The area associated with the address may or may not represent continuous sidewalk construction. It will be the contractor’s responsibility to be familiarized with the work to be done at each address, so that an accurate estimate of the work to be completed can be achieved. A City of Terre Haute representative will mark the sections to be removed and replaced. Also shown on Attachment “A” are areas that require tree removal or root pruning. Tree removal will be conducted under a separate contract. Stump removal of removed trees may be required of Contractor, if removal of stump cannot be accomplished under Tree Removal contract. The City requires all equipment, materials and labor needed for the repair, replacement and installation of curb, curb and gutter, handicap ramps and miscellaneous flatwork as directed. All work must comply with the City of Terre Haute Standards and Specifications and with the Indiana Department of Transportation’s current specifications where applicable and the requirements of the Americans with Disability Act where applicable. Production rates must be acceptable to the Department of Engineering. Bidders shall submit State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Questionnaire and Financial Statement). Bidders shall submit a list of similar concrete repair projects completed.
