The City of Tallahassee requires electric motor repair services for Underground Utilities and Public Infrastructure and is seeking a qualified contractor interested in providing all services, labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide such products and/or services as outlined in this document. Any estimated quantities stated are provided only as a guideline for bid preparation and shall not guarantee the quantity that will be ordered. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of items purchased. This Specification covers the general requirements for the disassembly, inspection, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic services for electric motors operating at Water and Wastewater facilities - including but not limited to water supply wells, sewage pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants and effluent irrigation systems -- owned and operated by the City of Tallahassee. The scope of this bid shall include the labor, material and equipment required for the completion of the scope of services defined by this Specification. It is not the Owner's intent to specify all technical requirements with regard to the maintenance of electric motors, nor to set forth those requirements covered by applicable codes and standards. The Contractor shall provide a quality service and neither the omission nor the deficiency of any item in this Specification shall relieve the Contractor from this responsibility.
