The project also includes safety improvements including the addition of high tension cable barrier along SR 8, guardrail replacement, safety fence installation along the Olson Road overpass and guardrail replacement along the Miccosukee Road underpass. Milling and resurfacing will also occur along the Olson Road and Centerville Road overpasses and the Miccosukee Road underpass. No additional travel lanes will be created, and no additional rights of way will be required.
