Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to; rehabilitation of existing pavements with a 0.24" to 0.40" grind, overlay and fully reconstruct portions of roadway. Rehabilitation will support full streets goals by reconstructing curb ramps, replacing an existing asphalt pathway with concrete sidewalks, installing bike lane with striped buffers, and green, red or white visibility striping through conflict zones. Traffic signal loops will also be replaced. The Construction Allocation for this project is $2,245,901. Project Duration 90 working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed Liquidated Damages $1,500 per day for each calendar day. All proposals must be made on the Bid Proposal Form provided by the Purchasing Manager. A Bid Deposit, which can be provided separately, in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Net Bid Amount (or, in bids with Add Alternates, the highest possible combination of the Base Bid plus Add Alternates) in the form of a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit, or a certificate of deposit or a bidder's bond executed by a corporate surety, admitted by the California Insurance Commissioner to do business in California, payable and acceptable to the City of Fresno; or the Bidder shall have registered with the Purchasing Manager of the City an annual bid bond sufficient to provide coverage in such amount. All Bid Deposits will be held until a Contract has been executed with the successful Bidder or all bids have been rejected. Copies of Bid Deposits may be submitted electronically, with the exception of a certified or cashier's check, which must be brought to the Purchasing Manager's office and labeled accordingly with the bid number prior to the bid opening.
