Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is soliciting proposals for a qualified and experienced Contractor for Athletic Wood Flooring Services and related projects as needed. Projects could include but not limited to replacement and new wood flooring, sleepers, subfloor, screen/re-coat, sports court lines and logos. Wood Flooring Install new athletic-grade wood flooring systems for gymnasiums and other sports facilities, ensuring compliance with MFMA (Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association) standards. Provide installation, replacement, and maintenance services for non-athletic wood flooring in stages, hallways, and classrooms with wood flooring, ensuring proper finishes and durability for high-traffic use. Replace existing wood floors, ensuring safe removal and disposal of old materials in compliance with local regulations. Sleepers Install sleeper systems to provide support, cushioning, and resilience for athletic and regular wood flooring. Repair or replace damaged sleeper systems for gymnasium and other wood flooring to restore stability and safety. Ensure uniform installation of sleepers for both athletic and non-athletic flooring areas. Subfloor Install new subfloor systems to provide a stable, moisture-resistant foundation for gym floors, stages, hallways, and classrooms. Repair or replace subfloor components as needed, addressing leveling and structural issues to ensure long-term flooring performance. Perform moisture testing and mitigation to safeguard the integrity of the subfloor and wood flooring systems. Screen/Re-Coat Screen and recoat gym floors, stages, hallways, and classrooms to restore surface finishes and enhance durability. Use high-quality, low-VOC finishes to provide a safe and aesthetically appealing result for all wood flooring. Provide maintenance recommendations to extend the life and appearance of gym and non-athletic wood flooring. Sports Court Lines and Logos Design and apply regulation sports court lines for basketball, volleyball, and other sports, ensuring compliance with NFHS, NCAA, or other applicable standards. Install custom logos and branding to enhance school identity, using durable, high-visibility paints and finishes. Repaint and restore faded or damaged lines and logos during refinishing or maintenance projects. All deliveries shall be made pursuant to a written Purchase Order issued by Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools MNPS assumes no liability for any goods or services delivered without a Purchase Order. All deliveries provided in the performance of this Contract are F.O.B. Destination, Prepaid by Supplier, Inside Delivery, to the site and during the times defined by MNPS. If installation is required, it shall be completed by the date specified on the Purchase Order unless otherwise stated in the Contract.
