Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Grading, Base Aggregate Dense, Select Crushed Material, Riprap Heavy, Concrete Pavement, Asphaltic Surface, Concrete Sidewalk, Storm Sewer, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The contractor may determine the schedule for this work except that all work on the project shall be completed and ready for final payment on or before August 31, 2025. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
